Blueberries on the way... sweet smells in the air!!

So Charlie had to be out of town this weekend... so I am catching up on blogging, or something like that.

I brought Lauren home with me from Rome tonight and we have had such a good time catching up and being goofy.

We started by searching my blueberry bushes for any early big blue blueberries!!! We ended up with a handful in my mini basket. We also found that in my 3rd blueberry bush are blackberries!!! not the sweetest but we were so excited at the discovery... There are plenty of blueberries yet to come and maybe a few blackberries. also I found that my one blueberry bush with the blackberries in the middle of it has grapes that are wrapping themselves around and in the bush (I think they very well may kill the blueberries) anyway I'm not sure when/if the grapes would be any good I have never seen them soften to a point where i would want to eat them. Then we found one more pear tree on the other side of my driveway that is 2 times older that any of the others and the pears on it are bigger as well... I am really hoping I will be able to figure out how to eat these pears... can you imagine 7 trees worth of pears??? I will just have to get a ladder to make it to the top of the tree. 

after the yard was sufficiently searched we were able to com inside and make the nest quesadillas ever!!! we made the chicken with all sorts of yummy spices and a couple from the "drinking" cabinet as well!! yum!!
